FAQ
What is BCA Protocol?
BCA is a network of people who are rewarded for helping AI companies to access user data for training their models.
Think of it as marketplace where you can sell the learning from your own digital data, but not share your data itself. This learnings (model updates) are sold to AI companies as a collective memory.
What type of data can I contribute with?
You will be able to contribute with a wide range of data points, including but not limited to: browsing data, mobile app usage, social data, and a lot more…
Is it safe, private and legal?
It is 100% safe, completely private and permissionless. You control the data contribution settings as well as the option to disconnect at any time. ZK proof and MPC tech stack is used for data validation without compromising confidentiality.
How do i Earn from my digital data?
AI Companies and Developers - Buy User Data
BCA Protocol’s user-generated database is sold to official partners like OpenAI and Stable Diffusion.
These companies use the data to train their AI models.
You Contribute with Your Data by Connecting to the Network
By connecting to the network you can contribute to the global user-generated database for AI training. With your contribution, you earn a portion of the revenue from the sold data.
You can contribute by connecting your devices (smartphones, IoT gadgets, desktops, wearables) to the network.
Can I use BCA Protocol with VPN or Ad Blockers enabled?
Absolutely yes, you will be able to access all features of our infrastructure with an ad blocker or VPN installed.
What is the Roadmap
🟪 Foundation (Q3-Q4, 2023)
🟪 Data Providers and users Onboarding (Q1-Q2, 2024)
🟪 AI Model Training Pipelines (Q3 2024)
🟪 Scaling and Optimization (Q4 2024)
🟪 Community Growth and Adoption (2025- Ongoing)
By following this roadmap, the BCA Protocol aims to revolutionize the AI industry by democratizing access to training data, fostering privacy-preserving AI model development, and empowering users to contribute to the advancement of AI technology
BCA Ecosystem and $BCA token
What is the $BCA token used for?
Unit of account:
Used as a unit of account between users, data providers and Ai enabled companies, in a new, blockchain-based AI and data platform
Proof of Personhood and Web3 Cookies
Web3 cookies utilize $BCA tokens to authenticate users within the BCA ecosystem, to reduces abuse and ensure data quality.
Protocol Governance
$BCA tokens are used for governance purposes, allowing token holders to participate in decision-making processes related to protocol upgrades, parameter adjustments, and community initiatives. Token holders may vote on proposals and influence the direction of the ecosystem.
Staking and Consensus
$BCA tokens can be staked by validators to participate in the consensus mechanism of the BCA Protocol. Validators play a crucial role in validating transactions, maintaining network security, and ensuring the integrity of the ecosystem.
Platform Fees and Rewards
Transactions conducted within the BCA Protocol ecosystem may incur platform fees, which are paid in $BCA tokens. Additionally, users may receive rewards or discounts for utilizing $BCA tokens for transactions, incentivizing adoption and usage.
Access to Premium Features
$BCA tokens may grant access to premium features or services within the ecosystem, such as advanced analytics tools, exclusive data sets, or personalized insights. This creates additional value for token holders and encourages token circulation.
Overall, the $BCA token plays a crucial role in facilitating transactions, governance, incentivization, and ecosystem development within the BCA Protocol, contributing to its growth and sustainability.
Explain the BCA Platform and $BCA token and how they work together.
$BCA is the economic backbone of the BCA (Blockchain-Centric AI) Ecosystem.
It acts as a store of value, a unit of account, and a medium of exchange that facilitates all on-chain interaction between the participants in the new, blockchain-based AI & Big Data industry.
